How to remove grease from water

The fiber ball filter is a highly efficient water treatment equipment. Its core filter medium is elastic fiber balls, which have the characteristics of large porosity, high specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity and chemical corrosion resistance. The fiber ball filter removes suspended matter, colloids, oil and microorganisms in the water through physical interception and adsorption.

1, Core composition
  • Fiber ball filter media: Made of polyester, polypropylene and other materials, it has good elasticity and high porosity, and can be compressed to form a gradient filter layer.
  • Filter tank: Pressure-resistant container with built-in fiber ball filter bed and water distribution system.
  • Water distribution/water collection device: Ensure that water flows evenly through the filter layer to avoid short-circuiting.
  • Backwash system: Clean the filter media regularly to restore the filtering performance.
2, Working Principle
  • Deep filtration: Water flows from top to bottom through the fiber ball filter layer. The fiber balls are squeezed to form a sparse upper and dense lower pore structure, achieving gradient pollution interception.
  • Adsorption interception: The fiber surface and pores adsorb tiny particles, oil droplets and organic matter.
  • Backwash regeneration: Through the combined backwash of air and water, the filter material is loosened and the retained impurities are discharged.
3, Technical features
  • High porosity (more than 95%), large specific surface area, and the pollution interception capacity is 2-4 times that of sand filtration.
  • Compressibility: adapt to different water quality and flow rate, the filtration accuracy can reach 5~10μm.
  • Corrosion resistance: acid, alkali, organic solvent resistant, suitable for chemical and petrochemical wastewater.
  • Easy to clean: backwashing quickly restores performance, low operating cost.
  • Low energy consumption: no chemical agents are required, environmental protection and energy saving.
