The horizontal partition in the tank is divided into two rooms. The upper part is clear water area, and the lower part is muddy water area. The two are completely separated, and several stainless steel filter columns are installed on the horizontal partition. The raw water to be treated enters the muddy water area through the inlet, and enters the inner chamber of the filter column from the bottom up through the cloth water hole on the horizontal partition plate. Impurities greater than the gap of the filter column are trapped, and the clear water passes through the gap into the clear water area. All the liquid filtered by the filter column converges in the clear water area and finally flows out from the outlet. When the impurities accumulate to a certain thickness in the filter column, the pressure difference will occur between the clear water area and before the muddy water area. At this time, the differential pressure controller can automatically control the backwash mechanism, or the backwashing system can be manually started to remove the filter slag.

Features of the self-cleaning filter
1. Self-cleaning function: the machine uses its own filtered out of the water, self-cleaning of the filter column, do not need to remove the filter column cleaning, also do not need to configure another cleaning system.
2. Continuous water supply function: several filter columns work at the same time, clean each filter column one by one during backwashing, and the other filter columns continue to work, so as to achieve continuous water supply.
3. Automatic backwashing function: the machine monitors the pressure difference between the clear water area and the muddy water area through the differential pressure controller. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the output signal of the differential pressure controller, and the electric control box controls to start and close the backwashing mechanism, to realize automatic backwashing.
4. High precision and reliable filtration: the machine filter column is made of trapezoidal section of stainless steel wire winding and welding on the multi-edge skeleton, high strength and corrosion resistance. A precise filtration gap and a V-shaped area facing the liquid direction are formed between each two adjacent steel wires, and the particles larger than the gap are collected to form a filter layer, thus further improving the filtration accuracy. The V-shaped area also provides an appropriate release angle to facilitate the smooth removal of impurities during backwashing.
5. Large filtration area: this machine is equipped with several filtration columns in the whole space of the tank, making full use of the filtration space. The effective filtration area is generally 3~5 times of the entrance area, the backwash frequency is low, the resistance loss is small, and the volume of the filter is significantly reduced.
6. The backwashing mechanism is reliable: the machine tank is divided into clear water area and turbid water cavity, backwashing suction cup and filter column in two rooms, the two rooms are separated by the partition, the suction cup is close to the smooth partition, because it does not contact with impurities, the backwashing mechanism is reliable and durable.
7. Operation safety: the machine is designed with a safety protection clutch, to protect the machine in the backwashing work encountered overload resistance, can cut off the power in time, the protection mechanism from damage.
