Many small and medium pure water manufacturers face long-term high power expenditure from traditional low-pressure RO membrane systems. Conventional BW reverse osmosis elements require 225psi steady operating pressure, which puts heavy load on high-pressure pumps and generates continuous monthly electricity costs. Our independently developed LF-XULP ultra low pressure RO membrane adopts optimized aromatic polyamide TFC composite separation layer, which can reach standard stable water yield and 98.5% average salt rejection under only 100psi test pressure. It reduces the overall energy consumption of the whole water station by nearly 30%, and lowers the pressure bearing standard of pipelines and pressure vessels to cut equipment procurement cost simultaneously.
This series is specially designed for raw water with TDS below 500ppm, such as tap water, surface water and rural shallow well water. When matched with PAN internal pressure UF membrane as front pretreatment, it can stabilize inlet SDI below 3, eliminate frequent RO fouling and extend the service cycle of membrane elements significantly. All XULP series elements and supporting ultrafiltration modules are integrated in our complete water filter element series.
