Ordinary standard RO membrane will form thick biofilm within 1-2 months of continuous operation, leading to sharply rising differential pressure, reduced water production and mandatory monthly shutdown chemical cleaning, which brings huge production loss and high chemical agent cost to factories. Our LF-BW-FR anti-fouling brackish RO membrane upgrades two core structures: modified hydrophilic TFC coating and widened 34mil internal flow channel, which greatly slows pollutant accumulation and extends the chemical cleaning cycle from 1-2 months to more than 6 months. Even under long-term high-COD raw water operation, it can maintain stable salt rejection above 99.6%.
For heavy pollution working conditions, we recommend matching PVDF external pressure UF membrane as primary filtration to intercept most colloids and oil emulsions in advance, reduce the pollution load of RO elements and maximize the service life of reverse osmosis systems.
