Thermal power boiler make-up water and semiconductor wafer cleaning ultrapure water put forward ultra-high requirements on silica, TOC and heavy metal interception performance of RO membrane. Ordinary low-flux reverse osmosis elements have weak silica removal capacity, which will form hard scale on boiler tubes and precision electronic equipment, increasing equipment failure rate and maintenance cost. Our standard LF-BW brackish water RO membrane adopts high-density polyamide separation layer, with SiO2 interception rate higher than 98% and overall stable salt rejection up to 99.7%. The maximum single membrane area reaches 440 square feet, realizing large-volume stable low-conductivity pure water production under medium pressure working conditions, which is the mainstream standard membrane for two-stage RO + EDI ultrapure water systems.
Matched with large-area PVDF external pressure UF membrane as front pretreatment, it can stabilize inlet SDI ≤3 and eliminate most colloidal silica pollutants, greatly extend the service life of EDI modules and reduce post-stage polishing cost.
