Conventional brackish RO membrane cannot bear the 32000ppm high salt concentration and 800psi extreme working pressure of raw seawater, which will lead to separation layer rupture and rapid flux attenuation after short-term operation, unable to produce qualified drinking fresh water directly. Our self-developed LF-SW seawater desalination RO membrane adopts fully reinforced winding structure and high-pressure resistant polyamide separation layer, supporting maximum 800psi continuous operation, and achieves stable 99.7 salt rejection rate in single-stage seawater filtration without secondary concentration treatment. The thickened hollow fiber structure avoids fiber breakage under long-term high-pressure impact, and the anti-crystallization surface coating slows sodium chloride scale accumulation greatly.
Complete multi-stage pretreatment system must be equipped for seawater projects: multimedia filter + activated carbon + PVDF external pressure UF membrane to intercept marine sediment, algae and plankton, prevent irreversible scratch damage to SW membrane separation layer.
