Propeller agitator is an ideal model for water treatment, with high degree of automation, good mixing quality, high efficiency and low energy consumption.
It has the advantages of low noise, convenient operation, fast discharging speed, long service life of lining plates and blades, and convenient maintenance.
The classification of mixers by rotation speed is rather arbitrary. Low-speed mixers, as a rule, have a rotational speed of the working body up to 200 rpm.
Low-speed mixers are mainly made of blade, anchor (frame), cup. The main task of this type of agitator is mixing readily soluble components, maintaining solid particles in suspension, preventing sediment formation at the bottom of tanks, and improving heat transfer processes.
The working body is driven by an electric motor in a general industrial or explosion-proof design through a reduction gear (worm, planetary, etc.). The material of the active part is stainless steel.
The mixing unit consists of a propeller (propeller) with two, three or four blades, depending on the model. The blades are curved like a screw, which allows the liquid during mixing to circulate not only in the horizontal, but also in the vertical plane, moving along the axis.
Due to its unique design features, the mixer can provide full circulation of the liquid medium in the vessel, spending a minimum of mechanical energy.
Purpose of the paddle mixer
The design of the device allows it to perform the following functions:
1. Dissolve and transform into emulsions of any kind according to the viscosity of the liquid;
2. Lift and stir up solid sediment in a liquid, with a mass content of not more than 15% and a particle size of up to 0.2 mm;
3. Stir fibrous materials;
4. Optimize the temperature parameters in the liquid;
5. Increase the intensity of heat transfer.

Parts in contact with liquids are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Special coatings and materials are available on request for extremely saline corrosive wastewater.
