RSCP045-40EPP Filter Element for Oil gas industrial usage
Parker high-flow water filter cartridges are high-efficiency filter elements characterized by high flow rate, high filtration accuracy, and long service life.
Product Features
High Flow Rate Design: Utilizes a large-diameter filter cartridge structure, such as the ParMax series cartridges with an OD size 6 inches. High flow rate per cartridge; a 60-inch ParMax cartridge can achieve a maximum flow rate of 500 gpm.
Multiple Filtration Accuracy Options: Meets various filtration needs. The ParMax series offers absolute filtration accuracy from 0.8 to 90 microns, while the Mega-Flow series offers nominal ratings of 0.5, 1, 5, and 10 microns.
High-Quality Filter Material: Commonly uses materials such as polypropylene and microfiber glass. Some models, such as RSMG045-40SPP, use glass fiber with an outer nylon woven mesh, offering advantages such as high strength and high contaminant capacity.
Unique Structural Design: Mostly features an inside-out flow design, such as the Xtream Pure® Series XP-E, which traps contaminants inside the cartridge, keeping the filter housing clean. Meanwhile, the filter cartridge features a pleated structure, increasing the filtration area, reducing pressure drop, and extending service life (Parker GB).
Good chemical compatibility: Some filter cartridges are made of a single piece of PP and glass fiber composite material, heat-fused together, without other colorants or binders, resulting in broad chemical compatibility and suitability for filtering strong acids and alkalis.
Easy replacement (Parker GB): Some models, such as the Mega-Flow cartridge, have a built-in handle and an O-ring seal, ensuring reliable installation and quick, safe replacement.
Technical Specifications
Operating temperature: Varies between models. For example, the ParMax series has a maximum operating temperature of 176°F (80°C) at 30 psid (2.1 bar) pressure.
Maximum pressure differential: Taking the ParMax series as an example, the maximum pressure differential is 70 psi (4.8 bar) at 77°F (25°C) and 30 psi (2.1 bar) at 176°F (80°C).
Application Areas
Pure Water Production: Commonly used for pre-filtration in reverse osmosis and deionized water systems, providing protection for subsequent membrane filtration and preventing membrane elements from being clogged by particulate contaminants.
Petrochemical Industry: Can be used for filtration of organic solvents, chemical reagents, and other materials.
Thermal Power Plants: Suitable for purification filtration in high-pressure boilers, ensuring the purity of boiler water and preventing scaling and corrosion.
Food and Pharmaceutical Industries: Used for pre-filtration of process water and filtration of pharmaceutical solutions, ensuring products meet hygiene standards.
